FOX AND CUBS (Pilosella Aurantica)

20cm bare root superplug (perennial). Not a native of UK (although it is in Europe) AND potentially invasive. However, we recommend it IN GRASSLAND/CONTAINERS only, for two reasons. It is kept in check by letting the grass grow and it is an orange colour that is very rare in our native flora. It's simply beautiful, planted in numbers.

LEVEL OF SHADE -                 Full sun or sun for half the day
WILDLIFE QUALITIES-          Loved by bees and butterflies

BORDERS?                                   ✅ But can be invasive
CONTAINERS?                            ✅ 
MEADOWS?                                ✅ Looks great in long grass which restrains it.
ROUGH LAWN?                          ✅ But you'll need to dig some out, every few years, or you'll end up with a fox and cubs mat! Superb for flowering roof options, as it's bullet-proof.
